Ludwigsburg Residential Palace

Ludwigsburg Residential Palace is one of the largest Baroque buildings in Europe that have survived in its original condition. It was constructed between 1704 and 1733 during the reign of Duke Eberhard Ludwig. A rich variety of museums, exhibitions and the beautiful park "Blooming Baroque" help to make Ludwigsburg Residential Palace a popular tourist attraction.

Favorite Palace

Palace Favorite was constructed between 1713 and 1723 by Duke Eberhard Ludwig for his mistress Wilhelmine von Graevenitz as a hunting lodge and summer residence. The murals inside the palace, as well as the park around the palace are  well worth a look.

Festival "Ludwigsburger Schlossfestspiele"
